Medical support capability development project

The aim of the project is to establish the emergency medical necessary response capacity for the maintenance of the combat capabilities of the National Armed Forces and the successful performance of different tasks, as well as the ability to organize and carry out medical evacuation. The project implementation period is planned until 2032. As a result of the implementation of the project, soldiers who have suffered injuries or other health disorders during the performance of their duties will be provided with timely and qualified medical assistance, as well as, if necessary, evacuation of the victim under the supervision of qualified medical personnel.

In the first phase of the project, until 2025 the purchase of medical equipment, devices and instruments necessary for the practical performance of life-saving and maintenance measures in the field will be carried out. It is also planned to recruit and train the missing staff to perform the functions described above. In the first phase of the project, the mobility of the purchased medical equipment and personnel will be partially achieved. In the second phase of the project, until 2032, the development of the mobility capacity of the medical support units of the National Armed Forces will continue, as well as the capacity of ground medical evacuation will be developed.
